When we first decided to make a sign, I had the idea of making a brochure holder to go along with it, which could hold maps, scavenger hunts, or other brochures. However, in the process of making brochures and brochure holders, we ran into a few problems.
First of all, after I designed the brochures with a scavenger hunt and map, our printer decided to not want to print the brochures correctly. One of the sides of the brochures printed upside down, and no matter how much we changed the computer and printer settings, it would not format itself correctly.
We moved on from the struggles with printing the brochures and decided to try to at least make the brochure holder. We ran into the same issue as the sign plans, there were none to be found that I liked on the internet, so we found a forest preserve nearby that had brochure holders that we could measure and base our own holder off of.
While we were actually building the brochure holder, we ran into some more struggles, such as wood type, size, and color, so we just decided to hold back on the brochure holder for now, and hope to bring it back later.
